📢 Mutual Aid Request – Support a Two-Spirit Transmasc Organizer 📢

My name is Stxph Viana, and today, I am asking for help—breaking the narrative that has made it hard for me to reach out in the past. I am the community I serve, and that means I am just as worthy of support, grace, and care as the love I extend to others.

Over the past year, I have faced unimaginable challenges. While working at Victory Programs, I was tokenized for my deep connections in the trans community through Trans Resistance and HELP by AMG. A traumatic incident with police at my workplace left me harassed and threatened, an officer telling me they’d follow me home. Instead of being protected, I was gaslit by HR, harassed, and pushed to quit. The trauma resulted in PTSD, and when I sought workers' compensation, they fired me instead—even refusing to file for my unemployment benefits.

Despite all of this, I kept moving forward. I poured my heart into organizing Boston’s Trans Day of Remembrance before heading to Florida to continue my work for the trans community. In Orlando, I launched @theripplehauxs, a space for healing, growth, and resilience—a home for those of us determined to build something better.

But today, I need help. I am $300 short on rent and utilities, and anything you can contribute will make a real difference. This isn’t just about financial support—it’s about community care. It’s about showing up for each other and refusing to let systemic harm define us.
